I was actually thinking the dude was kinda cute, and the girls reaction to him getting beaten and set alight reminded me of a scene from the movie Casino Royale, when an assassin makes a show of slicing off Le Chivre's blonde girlfriend's arm, and after observing his non-reaction, remarks: "Not a word of protest?
