Be even more terrible to have it screened life on a tv right in front of you, so you could see it happening.

It takes the brain a few minutes to die totally from lack of oxygen, so your thought process, vision, pain, must all be going on even as your head comes off.

We all saw the eyes moving on that video with the head coming off two chops.

A butcher knows that a smoothbladed cutting knife is meant for soft tissue only.

The guy hit the vertebrae and persisted in trying to cut through the bone.


A real butcher cuts through ligaments to go between the bones.


It has always amazed me how few beheaders have not learned that very simple basic bit of beginner knowledge.

I think that's what compels me to watch such things as this. The curiosity, the questions.

Years ago I was involved in a brawl where I was stabbed in the neck. I honestly didn't feel it because of the adrenaline. I thought the guy punched me in the throat so I began punching and kicking his face. It was probably only a few seconds...I remember standing up and thinking "man it's hot out here.. I'm sweating like crazy" it was all blood. Was spurting from my neck and my entire front side was covered.

Hard to tell what anyone is thinking when adrenaline is flowing.

Somehow after all those beheadings that I've seen here it just seems to become like watching cows and pigs getting slaughtered in the slaughterhouse. There's only a very few that still make me cringe.
