Authorities released the name of a domestic violence suspect allegedly armed with a knife who was shot to death by Los Angeles police officers.

The suspect was identified as R.O, 34, of Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

The shooting occurred at about 10:50 a.m. Saturday near 23rd and Wall streets on December 18th.

Officers responded to a call of a man in his 30s committing domestic violence. Upon arrival, they encountered a man with a knife who fit that description.

They ordered the man to drop the knife and he did not, police officials said in a tweet. The man was shot when he allegedly continued to move toward officers.

O. was pronounced dead at the scene. He leaves behind four children. The knife was recovered at the scene. No other people were injured during the incident.

The cop should be charged with at least manslaughter. The guy is obviously not right in his head. He's telling them to shoot him so that cop figured he'd help him out with his request. That's just wrong. What's with this world?!? People don't care about other people, or the environment. Glad I don't have kids who are going to have to deal with all the shit that is coming.
