Re: Drop Dead
It does kind of look neurological for the first 20 seconds or so, but I dont know. The twitchy leg, stomach, and arm thing reminded me of the video of that teenager who's friend recorded his suicide by rat poison out in public.

Re: Drop Dead
Nerve agent, not rat poison. Rat poison is just a super blood thinner with fiberglass to cause small cuts in the GI tract. I know who poisoned him. Start with the guy filming on his cell phone, for no apparent reason, the soon to be dead guy. A pop in the thigh with some 2PAM and atropine and he might have made it. He either forgot his autoinjectors or didn't have time to reach in his pocket for them. |

Re: Drop Dead
I'm guessing it's some sort of surrogate alcohol. Aftershave lotion, cologne, window cleaner or the like. It's a pretty common occurrence in Russia. There's no alcohol tax on ethanol if it is adulterated to render it "undrinkable". However "undrinkable" for the purposes of tax and laws around where and when alcoholic drinks can be sold and "undrinkable" as in, it'll kill you or poison you are two different things. These colognes or aftershave lotions are very high proof ethanol, 80-90% ABV is common with 2 or 3 other pretty benign substances to give it a little fragrance, usually something like bitter orange or witch hazel. Nasty, but not too toxic unlike methanol. Technical liquids in this case refers to a product made with denatured ethanol that is not food grade. An example would be a degreaser or solvent that is alcohol based. The denaturants or substances dissolved in the denatured alcohol can be extremely toxic or benign. This could be methanol, ethylene glycol, acetone, benzene, petroleum or lubricants It's being recorded onto the guys phone from a monitor, so it's almost certainly CCTV footage. I can't tell if you're being serious about nerve agents and random people carrying atropine injectors, though it seems to be a prudent measure in Russia these days. |

Re: Drop Dead
thanks I thought only methanol are dangerous Honestly I did consume non beverage alcohol (rubbing alcohol) when I was a kid. I got really drunk and parents don't even realize Glad I'm okay to this day, and my eyesights are still intact It does taste like regular drinkable alcohol though, probably because back then there's no such thing as denatured alcohol and these things are just everywhere. |
