Driver Trying to Overtake Another is Hit by Truck Launching Three Passengers
Three car passengers have miraculously survived one of the most shocking crashes caught on a Russian dashcam. The trio are seen flying through the windscreen towards the camera near the town of Volosovo, in the northwestern Leningrad Oblast region. Their 20-year-old driver, who remained strapped inside, was not so fortunate and died on the the way to hospital, state reports. The horrific crash appears to have been caused because the driver, named as L.M., embarked on an overtake at high speeds. He was unable to slow down and was caught by a passing truck on the other side of the road. His Lada disintegrated upon impact when it skidded into the side of the truck. Three of the passengers, thought not to be wearing their seat belts, were then launched through the air and left scattered across the road. Those traveling in the Lada have been identified as L.M., 20, who was the driver, A.G., 21, D.C., 26, and A.M., 19. At least one of the passengers suffered severe injuries and was placed in intensive care. The 21-year-old female passenger is thought to have broken her leg and arm. The unnamed 49-year-old driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and his condition was reported as "satisfactory." |

Wow! Amazing video!!!! and kudos to the survivors who were dumb enough to be in a car with that maniac, ALL without a seatbelt on and somehow still survive! Just amazing
