Re: ~Driver Dies In Fiery Crash In Burnaby, B.C.~
this is why i drive slow and obey speed limits. Cars don't explode unless it's high impact enough to break fuel lines at the back of the engine. every fire I see as a LEO, was a high speed crash. Usualy involving older cars. Also idiots staying in their car after a crash doesn't help. Get the F out immediately after any crash. |

Re: ~Driver Dies In Fiery Crash In Burnaby, B.C.~
As hot as it was, it wasn't going to blow. That only happen in movies. Cars just don't explode like an atomic bomb. But the heat is far too intense. I past by a burning vehicle before. It was only about 20 ft away and my windows were up and I still felt the intense heat so I can only imaging how bad it is being a few feet away trying to help. It's hopeless.

That arm up to head movement is a unconscious effort us humans make in times of unfortunate events. So many videos I see people doing it.
