he was up to no good. those large zip ties are mainly used as handcuffs...unless maybe he was on his way to bundle up some wood or something like that?<--------sarcasim

If you also look in between the zip ties, there was a single yellow rubbermaid dish glove. Maybe the other one is on the floor board. He was probably going to be bound up with those zip ties, but was resisting. Instead of going with the plan of binding him up, they said, "fuck it" and just put one in his dome. Took the gloves off to not have any fingerprints and bounced out of there.
