I would have made sure the rope was on the side I would have used to pull the trolley out of the elevator, that's why it's there. Common sense is not that common it would seem. |

I can see how he didn't think about the unloading, and used the tow rope to load the dolly into the elevator. Before seeing this video, I would not have been so aware about the hazard of a trailing rope like that. I rarely use elevators though. |

I am surprised the bottom of the door gave way, even though the impact was strong. I am writing that off to Chinese elevators. I would hope that western elevators doors have a higher live loading rating than that.
