Why the various small holes in the guys face ? Was it a shotgun blast? Anyone?

I hope you are joking. A shotgun blast ? Uh, notice how he still has a head left don't you ? I'd say it was a silenced weapon going by the sound, and multiple holes that has blood shooting out.

Shotgun doesnt bleed much most of them has smaller pieces of metal than any rifle.

Of course there are many variables when it comes to firearm wounds. The kind of gun, rifle, shotgun, or handgun plays a role.

So does the gauge, or calibur, as does distance. Here are a couple of pictures for general reference. Handgun, and shotgun.
