Nope, that was some 16-17 seconds long beheading. There was a video on this site which was taken in a combat situation and a guy behead another in the street with a regular knife in like 9 seconds  I'm too lazy to search for it, but I know it's somewhere here. |

It 'can' actually be very easy and quick to cut off a human head as this video shows. The knife need only be reasonably sharp. As sharp as a typical kitchen knife is fine. The trick is to have a firm grip on the head so there's no slipping and cutting BETWEEN the vertebrae. Most of the hackers just keep hacking at the bone of the vertebrae with a knife which is totally ineffective. There is only soft cartilage, nerves and blood vessels in between the vertebrae which will cut very easily. In this video, the executioner went straight for the cut BETWEEN the vertebrae. No muss. No fuss. All butchers know this. |
