Re: Don't Bring a Fist to a Gunfight
Holy shit. NH is never on the map for this shit. I was born and raised in Nashua, literally a 10 minute drive from where this happened.

Re: Don't Bring a Fist to a Gunfight
OF COURSE the family of the victim says “He was such a kind and positive soul always trying to help others.” Huh, video seems to show him sucker punch a dude in the face before he got shot. Real nice positive guy. |

Re: Don't Bring a Fist to a Gunfight
While I personally think carrying a firearm in a bar and allowing yourself to be involved in a fight while carrying is extremely immature, NH is a stand your ground state. “New Hampshire is a Castle Doctrine state and has a “stand your ground” law. A person who is lawfully in a place or location and who is threatened with bodily injury or loss of life has no duty to retreat from a threat prior to using force.” As long as he wasn’t drunk and didn’t start the fight (which could hamper a self defense case).. he will probably not be convicted of anything. If he was drunk, or did instigate the fight though it will negate the self-defense argument and he will do some serious time. |

Re: Don't Bring a Fist to a Gunfight
All good up until he literally unloaded the entire clip on him. Once that happened the self defense case is pretty much out the window. |
