Just a video from one of the many multicultural areas of Britain.

Shocking footage from the scene shows a paramedic observing: "looks like a shotgun to the face and a shotgun to the side."

The video, which is too graphic to show, opens with one of the victims on the road on his back while the second one is in the backseat of the grey Audi.

One has blood coming from his side as paramedics can be seen cutting his shirt to fund the bullet hole.

The second victim in the car appears to have been shot in the jaw as another paramedic observes his injuries.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Police were called to Courtland Avenue, Ilford at 00:06hrs on Saturday, 28 September following reports of a shooting.

"Armed police, local officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found two men suffering from gunshot injuries.

"Both men, believed to be aged in their twenties, were taken to a central London hospital where they remain in a critical condition.

"No arrests have been made. A crime scene remains in place."

London in embroiled in a knife crime epidemic as the capital's murder rate this year reached more than 100.

Last year was London's bloodiest in a decade - when the number of homicides reached 132 - and the violence continues to plague the capital.

11 other people in the capital were shot dead last year, a Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed.
