It's not a certainty, but based on the symptoms, it looks like traumatic brain injury. The video doesn't capture the moment of impact, but it seems likely that his head impacted the road very hard, and caused enough damage to induce the posturing that we see. If they got him to a hospital, things may work out, but that's not a certainty with this type of injury. About the only positive I could see was that his presentation wasn't a perfect case of decerebrate posturing. |
