Dominican Republic - Young Man Dying After Being Shot
On the afternoon of 3rd June 2019 in Matanzas (Dominican Republic), 20 year old D.F.E.R. was shot dead.   The police were told that 2 Haitian men were knocking down mangoes on private property without permission. A gunshot was heard which hit 'D'. It was assumed that one of the Haitian men had fired the shot. Locals went after the 2 men + beat them with sticks + stones. They were also stabbed. One of the men was seriously injured + taken to the hospital,  Upon further investigation, the 2 Haitian men were innocent + it was a local who had fired the shot (though the shot was not intended to hit 'D'). 63 year old G.B.B., the gunman, was arrested.   'G' was the owner of the property that the Haitian's were taking mangoes from. He had fired his gun to scare the 2 men away but it accidently hit 'D', a relative of 'G'.

This was a hate crime by Dominicans killing at least one Haitian in a Violent attack on the street. The younger kid die from a bullet impact from a man shooting at the the Haitian who were taking mangos from a tree. It is sad to see the policeman lying his ass off to protect the Dominicans. Many visits to the Dominican Republic and progress has not change their primitive social ways. By the way, mango trees in the Dominican Republic are everywhere with it's fruit on the road or just spooling. This hate crime was just a small doze of what is a daily event in the DR. I no longer visit for this reason. It is so sad to see so much hate among the Dominicans.
