Dominican Republic - Woman Beaten to Death by Her Partner
A woman was beaten to death on Monday in the Cristo Rey sector of the National District, the National Police confirmed on Monday. The victim was identified as Milagros Cristina Veras, 34, who was reportedly fatally attacked by her partner , only identified as Manuel. |

H. Manuel E. O, took the life of his partner Milagros C.V.P, 34 years old, early Monday morning and he is between life and death in the Hospital. The 58-year-old man was affected by the explosion of a gas cylinder that he caused after causing the death of Milagros by the same gas cylinder.  He is currently admitted to the Burn Unit of a hospital in Santo Domingo and according to doctors, he is unstable, does not respond to hydration and has more than 90% second and third degree burns.  Four other people were also affected by the explosion, some with minor injuries. The case: According to the neighbors, he had locked him and herself in the house after she came back from hanging out with her friends and neighbours heard screams coming from the house. When they tried to talk to the man, they noticed that he locked the door and moments later the explosion occurred.  ·  · |
