I know this is a gore site and what not, but does that mean that because we're here, it's also obligatory to find kids getting run over and killed, or any other tragic death funny? Thing is, I know 99% of you do not, so why then feel the need to act like you do?  |

Young people getting killed is the ultimate reminder of our destiny. It reinforces the fact that it can come at any moment or time. Whether we are twelve or ninety, it is stalking us, and it will get us, by crushing bus, vicious dog, or the slow erosion of age on flesh. The end is the same. Besides, this kid is not complaining that we laugh at his slapstick attempt to escape the grim reaper. He is beyond our ability to hurt. |
