Considering it's an asian country, it's not a far fetched idea the animal might have been a food animal, and they don't exactly treat those animals very well, this is probably more common than we know.

Holy shit - that lady is a fucking GANGSTER! She’s sitting there like “aw man, fuck this shit” like she didn’t just star in the sequel to Face/Off. Major props for not losing you shit, Ms No-Face! Although, I notice that her eyeballs appear gone, as well... maybe hidden in the debris?? But the good news is, she’ll probably believe when someone lies/says, “don’t worry, it doesn’t look toooo bad!”
