Dispute Between Rival Militiamen Leads to Five Dead Bodies
Five men were shot dead in Santa Cruz, in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, late Thursday night (1st) and early Friday morning (2nd). The case occurred due to a dispute over territory between rival militiamen, led by "Zinho" and "Nanan". Policemen who were called to verify an incident saw three men dead near a car. Soon after, the police were directed to another street in the region, where two more men were found dead. The first three victims were unidentified, but the other two were M.F.D. and A.C.d.C. It is believed that three cars with militiamen went to the region and intercepted a vehicle with rival criminals. |

It's not as if they're fighting over water or food resources for their people.
