Several dismembered bodies were dumped on a stretch of highway in Veracruz. Some of the remains were dumped underneath a road bridge, whilst others were left at another part of the highway. Allegedly, armed men got out of some trucks to dispose of the remains.

The criminals had time to hang a banner on the bridge to provide details of their criminal rivals' vehicles and their license plate numbers. Authorities say these killings stem from territorial disputes between at least three criminal groups.
