They were torn up. Intestines are a sure gore factor for me. Brains gets old...brains in a back seat, brains in a lap. Brains in a bath tub, brains on toast.
Intestines are nasty. And you know if you see brains or intestines, the wound is most likely mortal.

Look at 0.31 seconds. There appears to be a metal cog in the guys jaw. was this a repair job from a prior jaw fracture ? Of a projectile that stuck in his jaw ?
The other option is that he's a cyborg / terminator.

Are you sure about that? Just looks like his teeth and possibly a gold/silver filling.
