I lived there for 2 years. CR has gun stores in their malls. Everyone has a gun. My Dad actually lived in Escazu in an incredibly similar condo nabe. I'm not at all surprised that 4 Ticos argued over a sprinkler resulting in one gunning the another one down. Life is cheap there. It's a shithole 3rd world corrupt as fuck country just like the rest of Latin America. It's the best LA has to offer. LOLOLOLOLOL

Escazu is the safest neighborhood in San José (excuding Escazu town center). You can see the lawn is taken care of and the houses are not made of cardboard and tin plate. That's where expats usually stay.
