That's the correct way to carry a semiauto pistol, but the coward can't argue now that he always carried it cocked and locked because he racked the slide before confronting his neighbor, so now the DA could add a charge of premeditated murder because it shows he acted with the intention to have it ready to shoot before having the interaction. The shooting was not justified, it is not self defense because he was challenged to a fist fight and as a sissy pussified coward that he is, he chose to shot the neighbor multiple times i.e. murder and overkill. F-uck him!  |

That assault is enough for self defense…  I just took a firearms safety class given by our town police department. The chief specifically went over laws regarding real life situations that we watched on video, one was exactly like this one, but in a parking lot... I’m afraid he is justified, especially with the history of harassment. |

It could be, depending on the state laws in America, here he could argue he was afraid of being disarmed and shot with his own gun, in that case carrying for him would be an escalating issue, just as when female cops intervene in a Terry stop, you would be in more danger of being shot than if the cops are all male, they may not feel the same amount of threat from you because they would feel confident to wrestle it with you whereas a female will probably opt to shoot you in fear of losing her gun in a fist fight with a man. In none of the Latin American countries with the exception of Puerto Rico there is a gun culture, in some of them you are required to be shot at first before you can legally defend yourself, and still you go to jail before claryfying the circumstances. Latin America is a shithole. |

The countries where you can use a firearm to defend yourself with less of a hassle are Costa Rica, Argentina and Brazil, the rest I believe you have no option but to let the assailant shoot you and expect to be lucky you don't die because if you carry you go to jail. |
