yeah, hammers aren't in de-mining kits for a reason. most pressure sensitive explosives dont respond well to being hit or even tapped too well... percussion pisses them off.

Whats the point of disarming a small mine in the middle of a forest? Just use a primitive device to drop a rock or something on top of it from a distance.
