Because they are innocent of any transgressions. They are never vindictive, nor do they have any kind of agenda. Humans are deviant, ruthless and horrible to each other. Our animal pets, birds, cats, dogs and many other mammals only want love and to give love in return. That’s why we hate it when animals are treated wrongly by us.
