It does appear he's trying to put himself out. Which is another terrible idea. After you're lit up, you are better off dead. Since the rest of your life will be excruciating pain, and hideous disfigurement.

What did he use as an accelerant? Because he went down REALLY QUICK, and that was a seemingly much more intense fire than usual in these kind of videos.
