Depressed Lawyer Drops from High-rise Building Onto the Pavement
Members of the public watched in horror as a man fell from the 22nd floor of a high-rise building today. The victim was a 42-year-old lawyer, believed to be suffering from depression. The 22th floor is occupied by the Municipal Council’s (SMC) Engineering Division. At the time of the incident, there were six SMC staff taking a break at their designated workplace and they did not realise the man’s presence. Others went out for lunch. Police said early investigation found no criminal element in the case. The case is classified as sudden death, police said. |

Kudos to the camera operators in both cases - they followed him all the way to the ground. Well done.
