Re: Depressed Guy Suffering from an Autoimmune Disorder Jumped from 21st Floor
It wasn’t AIDS, he had some kind of a degenerative auto immune disease that affected his nerves, it’s often very drawn out and excruciatingly painful. I have a Progressive demyelinating disease called neuromyelitis optica which basically just strips the covering off of your nerves leaving them irreparably damaged and useless. It starts in your eyes, feet, and hands and slowly works its way inward until it gets to your respiratory system and kills ypu By robbing you of the ability to breathe on your own. This process takes years is excruciatingly painful and it’s even more difficult when you’ve seen other relatives succumb to it after a decade+ long struggle. It is extremely understandable why anyone would choose to go out on your own terms as opposed to being essentially a vegetable in a bed except with all of your wits about you. Although even in death I think I would be more courteous to those around me then to just splatter in the middle of a busy place. Long story short if someone’s talking about an auto immune disease they are almost always talking about a disease where their own immune system is attacking them, and not AIDS. |

Oh please. STFU. Look at what people look at, uh um voluntarily, and all the violence you see in video games and motion pictures. You are just like all the other wusses that think it should not be seen just because it's real life events. Nothing sounds more stupid |
