Re: Denver Cop Who Shot, Killed Knife Wielding Man Was Legally Justified
Hi! As you might have noticed, I quoted the reasons that Ace Goober found sufficient to kill a person. And these quoted reasons were exactly the same reasons that Jews were killed in Auschwitz for: - no productive member of society - danger to society And, btw, I was not the one to speak of "removing from the gene pool" which is clearly tendentious. |

This one was actually justified.

In your logic as I understand it, we - as a whole - should allow people such as Castaway continue to cause mayhem in society without repercussion for their actions? Just continually lock them up for violent offenses against society? I'm very curious how you think we should handle people, who have been given multiple opportunities to become a productive member of society yet chose not to. BTW, I grew-up in a home with mentally disabled children and I volunteer time to work with mentally disabled adults and children when I can. Keep that in mind when you respond. |

Ace Goober, please tell me why I should keep in mind that you grew up in that household when I respond? Do you really think that your background sheds a different light on the tendencious, pseudo-fascist and misanthropic wordings in your first post? I can tell you: it doesn't - not at all. I work at a home for the mentally disabled and I can tell you that, among the employees there, you'll find more people with a misanthropic view than anywhere else. I find it even possible that you prefer the hate- and punishment-driven world view because of your background and not despite of it... What to do with this guy? Why are you asking that question? This guy was shot in a country where there is NO free treatment for the mentally ill. You just put them in jail, that's it. And when they not seem to learn from it, they're "justifiably" shot. Bullshit. |

Seen a video where the tazer failed on a guy drugged up, it might of been faulty. I wouldn't take the chance using one vs a guy with a knife 4 feet away from me.

Reasons and excuses are two different things and I'm sure you know the difference. This was a racial purity issue to Hitler, plain and simple. I would agree with you that the "removing from the gene pool" comment fits the definition of tendentious, but your use of Auschwitz fits the definition of Godwin's Law as well. |
