Dentist Talking on His Phone on Sidewalk Fatally Hit by a Pick-up Truck
Peru. This morning around 8:00 AM, the driver of a pick-up truck, belonging to a telecommunications company, lost control while traveling at high speed along the road. It mounted the sidewalk and violently struck a 45-year-old pedestrian, (a dentist talking on his phone) and smashed directly into the entrance gate of a condominium complex. The dentist died at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. An adult driver and a minor inside the vehicle were injured and transported to a hospital. Local neighbors indicated the driver was reportedly on his way to drop his son off at school when he lost control of the vehicle. |

The driver was obviously upset at the shoddy bridge work the dentist gave him.
