An elevator shaft has a recovery area below the bottom floor of maybe 10 feet. Here you find the counterweight depression area where weights move up or down. There are also several giant safety spring recourses to stop the elevator in case of a short drop failure. The guy fell maybe 8-10 feet Max. But to think you just walk into an elevator space that has **NO VISIBLE FLOOR** tells you the elevator is not in THE CORRECT position. **TOTAL MORON RETARD**
