Decomposing Body of Woman - Head Separated from Body - Washes Up
Tulungagung, East Java, Indonesia The decomposing body of an unidentified woman, believed to be in her 20s, washed up on a beach, with the head having separated from the torso. The only things attached to the victim's body were grey shorts with the words 'Manchester City 555' and grey underwear. Police suspect the head separation was caused by a violent impact with the cliff, or days of extreme pounding from the South China Sea waves. It is thought the woman had been dead for more than a week before her corpse washed up. |

My dad told me about when he was on the USS Iowa during WWII when they were shelling the Mariana Islands. He said there were a bunch of swollen bodies floating from where the natives had jumped off cliffs into the sea. He said they would slam up against the ship & explode. |

However, because the body was submerged for 7 to 10 days, water log damage has significantly masked superficial bruising. Pathologists are conducting internal lung tests to determine whether she entered the water alive or was thrown into the sea after dying. The skull is being analyzed closely to confirm if the separation from the neck was entirely due to wave erosion against rocks or if there are structural fractures indicating a blow to the head. Bet she's not from that area as someone must had recognized that specific shirt or files a missing case. Marine police and the Indonesian Navy are mapping regional ocean currents to deduce where the body originated. Pantai Sine directly faces the open Indian Ocean. During late May, southern coastal currents in East Java flow heavily from east to west/southwest. This current pattern indicates the victim may have entered the water further east and potentially drifting all the way from the coastlines of Malang, Lumajang, or even Banyuwangi before the waves pushed her ashore into the rocky bays of Tulungagung. |
