The body of Diego Caldas was found hanging on Sunday afternoon (22nd) in the municipality of Cururupu, in Maranhão. The discovery occurred near the construction site of the city's new airport, an area known as Sítio de Leandrinho. Local residents alerted the Military Police, who then cordoned off the area until the arrival of the Civil Police. Diego had been missing since March 19th. His family and friends had been searching for him and had organized a social media campaign to try to locate him.
