At a preschool in Puerto Cabello, Carabobo state, Venezuela, the body of an unidentified man was found hanging from a jalousie window, and in an advanced state of decomposition.

The preschool was shut for the holidays. The body was found when locals reported a foul smell coming from the premises. The preschool's headteacher found the premises in a state of disarray, before coming across the corpse.

Preliminarily, it is believed the man was a thief. He had broken into the preschool through the window, and he was attempting to exit, whilst standing on a chair, when he slipped. It seems he may have sliced his neck on the broken glass that was left behind when he broke in, and he bled to death.
