My overall impression is this is some kind of “hey, you wanna see something cool?” deal, like the bad boy letting his new miss have a go at the bong, taken up a few notches. Didn’t some of those chops come from the other direction, too? The giggle kind of fits with that. So does the incompetence at removing the head. Couldn’t a serrated bread knife have done this faster?  |

Unfortunately, most at her age don't think about the long term consequences of their actions. That girl was living in the moment and wanted to fit in with her peers. I doubt she ever had a single thought about what might happen to her as a result of her getting involved with one of her local gangs.

It's possible that they actually succeeded, but they placed the head back where it came from. I've seen a few beheadings where they do that.
