Bonus post Santaluz, Bahia, Brazil A 21-year-old woman, Fernanda R.d.S., was stoned to death, and her body was left partially burned. The crime occurred after she had left home to meet an individual, known only as "N". The body was found in a vacant lot behind a slaughterhouse. A video, recorded days before she was killed, showed Fernanda hiding in a cemetery with her father, fearing a return to the town. She said that unidentified people were threatening her, and that they were unable to "go to the courthouse". The Military Police arrested two suspects, 18-year-old Werner d.J.B. and his 15-year-old brother, who both confessed to the crime. Werner claimed he and his brother had been threatened by Fernanda and her boyfriend. A third suspect, known as 'Playboy', remains at large. |
