Debt Argument Leads to Knife Attack and Being Shot in the Abdomen by S&W 9mm
DR. After an argument about a debt, Lisandro M. R, 23, pulled out a knife and attacked Ramon M. C, who brandished a legally licensed 9-millimeter Smith & Wesson pistol and shot Lisandro in the abdomen Friday morning. He passed away at the José María Cabral y Báez Regional University Hospital on arrival. The violent brawl stemmed from a business disagreement regarding a failed car wash partnership. The victim, Lisandro advanced RD$20,000 pesos ($330) to Ramon for the procurement of equipment and supplies to set up the vehicle-washing business. Because Ramon failed to deliver the supplies or provided an explanation regarding the funds, Lisandro confronted him publicly on the street to demand his money back. Local media and police logs initially identified Ramon as a moneylender and aspiring business partner, which explained his possession of a legally registered firearm for self-defense. |

i think the knife guy had the advantage at that close of a range. looked like he was mostly posturing and thats what got him killed. |

To be fair If I was on the jury I would find him not guilty on grounds of self defence. You come at me with a knife acting like that I would shoot you dead the moment you came running to me the first time. Although like an idiot I would probably shoot you in the leg or the hand that had the knife Which is probably a mistake.
