Re: Death In The Boxing Ring
he didnt get him in the jaw - It looks like he punched him in the nose, because you see he punches kind of upwards from underneath his nose, therefore killing the man because the bone has cracked and pushed up to his brain. very lethal punch.

Re: Death In The Boxing Ring
Wasn't this on one of the Faces of Death films?? I'm sure it was... Or it could just have been something my boyfriend showed me at some point (he does boxing)... Could be very wrong because I tend to switch off when the other half starts going on about sporty things but it was an embolism or brain bleed from an aneurysm or something... Correct me if I'm wrong - I hate talking shit (although I'm accused of it all the time! |

Re: Death In The Boxing Ring
Johnny Owen. I'm sure this is your man... This is the Faces of Death 2 footage, I'm sure of it... Owen, whom it transpired had an unusually delicate skull, never regained consciousness and, despite extensive surgery, slipped into a coma. He was pronounced dead on November 4, 1980, aged twenty-four. Apparently he had a very delicate skull... Johnny Owen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

Re: Death In The Boxing Ring
If you get in the ring and fight then you have to accept the risk of not getting out of the ring alive. This is not the first time this has happened and it wont be the last time.
