Re: Deadly Volcano Triggered Tsunami Interrupts Live Concert Engulfing Crowd
When the fucking OCEAN tells you to shut the fuck up...it's definitely time to throw in the towel. Or maybe it's the other way around...maybe the ocean loved their music so much that it wanted to give them all a well-deserved pat on the back. Personally, I think it's the former That being said, it seems that they had JUST finished the song they were playing when the sea burst in. If they had survived, this would have taken the cake as the most dramatic closing act of all time. |

"Seventeen was an Indonesian pop rock group, formed in 1999 in Yogyakarta. They released six albums and fifteen singles. They were known for their hit singles, such as "Selalu Mengalah", "Jaga Selalu Hatimu", "Jalan Terbaik", and "Ayah". You can see the bass player's bass cabinet about ready to pounce on him. No way he could have survived that. The drummer had it worse, catapulted over his drums onto the ground and sustaining serious injury. That had to be fucking horrifying. |

Re: Deadly Volcano Triggered Tsunami Interrupts Live Concert Engulfing Crowd
The sole survivor of an Indonesian pop group swept away in the tsunami at the weekend has buried his TV star wife, one day after laying three bandmates to rest. Seventeen frontman Riefian Fajarsyah posted a series of heartbreaking tributes to Dylan Sahara, who would have turned 26 on Sunday. The 35-year-old posted a poignant video of himself tenderly stroking his wife’s coffin in the hearse on the way to her funeral yesterday. “How can I live without you Dylan Sahara? Please send prayers for my wife Dylan so she will be at peace,” he wrote to his two million Instagram followers. “I love you, my dear wife,” he captioned another portrait. “Thank God I met my wife,” he said alongside another. Sahara, an actor and the daughter of a prominent Indonesian politician, was among dozens of people washed away at Seventeen’s beachside performance in Java on Saturday night. |

Amazing footage. Absolutely terrifying. It’s like it came in from everywhere. Aside from getting to higher ground, how can anyone survive this? Are there buildings that can withstand something like this??? |
