Re: Deadly Plain Crash in Iceland, Akureyri
That much speed, it was no accident. I'm a pilot, and I believe this was likely a cockpit struggle or suicide mission. Here's why: they are WAY too fast for a landing, there was no attempt to fly level, and the landing gear was up. During training, ALL pilots learn how to adjust speed for a forced approach. Also, if this was an ambulance flight, they would not attempt a low flyby just to show off.

Re: Deadly Plain Crash in Iceland, Akureyri
The plane was going fast enough to be controllable. But the pilot flew it into the ground during a sharp turn. It looks like that could easily be avoided by rolling the plane to the right and climbing. Wonder if he blacked out.
