Re: Dead Man Propped Up with Eyes Open at Own Funeral
Definitely different way of presenting the body to the family.. As long as the family has closure that's all that matters in my book.. I mean for reals, a funeral is to create closure for the deceased.. Its funny how they have him holding a "blunt" (cigar rolled with weed), wondering if they really rolled a blunt for him to take to the afterlife.. Im sure by the look of it, one of his homeboys rolled one up |

this is a modern memento mori funeral, strange anyway these days The lips are glued, the legs sew to the pants |

Re: Dead Man Propped Up with Eyes Open at Own Funeral
I have been to Puerto Rico and the locals told me that wakes like this are common. It is odd, but kudos to the funeral director. I think they did an outstanding job in keeping with the family`s wishes. |
