My wife had this happen to her before our first child was born and she nearly died...Scary AF. It's called HELLP Syndrome ("HELLP" is an abbreviation of the three main features of the syndrome: Hemolysis, Elevated Liver enzymes, and Low Platelet count.) Basically your liver shuts down very rapidly.
