Helmet flew off right as her head hit the hood. Then looks like she fell, crushed her head/broke her neck

If you go frame by frame from about 00:04:30 or so you'll note she sees the danger, panics, and jams her feet down on the road to brake faster as if she were riding a bicycle. To me this looks like the reason why she hit the truck with such full body force at that relatively low speed. Had she not done that, she would have flown up to land on the hood and maybe broken a hip, is my guess.

~ All three vehicles did was is known as California stops, barely stopping or slowing down, then proceeding as usual.
~ She just kept going thru, speeding up taken for granted.
Probably thought the car saw her & was going to completely stop.
~ I don't see that she had a stop on her side of the street.
~ Safety protocols taken for granted by all involved.

You would think in these countries where they know how bad the road rules are that they would proceed with caution to intersections. But alas. Darwin wins again.
