I found my dad dead from an OD he did on purpose. I saw him earlier that morning and said I would be back over that night, I worked 3rd shift and had to sleep. He decided he was done living, it was a long time coming but it still fucked me up.

Nothing good about finding a parent dead even though it’s the natural course of life to bury your parents. Better than them finding a son or a daughter like that.
