Re: Dashcam Records Fishermen Inside Their Toyota Hillux Drowning
Go and do some research before you start babbling yourself... Cold water immersion shuts off all non essential organs, to preserve the vital organs. Next stage is the heart rate slowing immensely, to a rate its not detectable by hand. In the latest stage off hypothermia, by immersion in Ice Cold water, the bloodflow comes almost to a stop, but since all other organs where already stopped functioning the oxygen level in the blood is still on a decent level, enough for the brain to survive for a while. If you would have done your research instead of relying on your basic biology/elementary level skills, you would have known it was true about the survivability of drownings in Ice Cold water. A few winters ago they found here in my Country someone who drowned in a Lake and it took them 1.5hours to get him out. They managed to bring him back to life although it is a very slow and difficult process. He was kept in a Coma for weeks, and only slowly warmed him up. To give the body time to recover on a very slow pase But if the water was not as cold he ofcourse would not be alive now. Its all about the Cold and your body being able to go in a sort of Cold hybernation modus... |

You're mixing up different things regarding brain death https://www.news-medical.net/news/20...ter-death.aspx then "Bone, tendon, and skin can survive as long as 8 to 12 hours. The brain, however, appears to accumulate ischemic injury faster than any other organ. Without special treatment after circulation is restarted, full recovery of the brain after more than 3 minutes of clinical death at normal body temperature is rare." "The brain, however, appears to accumulate ischemic injury faster than any other organ. Without special treatment after circulation is restarted, full recovery of the brain after more than 3 minutes of clinical death at normal body temperature is rare.[6][7] Usually brain damage or later brain death results after longer intervals of clinical death even if the heart is restarted and blood circulation is successfully restored. Brain injury is therefore the chief limiting factor for recovery from clinical death. " What you mean probably https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Target...ure_management Your so called "evidence" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clinical_death https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain_death In this case, you'll die because of the lack of oxygen, not because of hypothermia, your oxygen run out BEFORE the hypothermia, lol Don't be a smartass, you cannot "cheat" death You're a dumbass anyways |

doesn't matter by that time the aforementioned occurs, you'll be dead because of the lack of oxygen The granpa managed to get out, i'm assuming he found a way to escape from teh vehicle. If he foudn a way, then water found a way to the inside of the vehicle Go figure So many dumbass thinks he is smartass If they could have been alive, they wouldn't be dead insert smartnegro.jpg here |

You just like to dig yourself deeper into the shit, don't you. Unlike some people who can take correction, you just go on repeating your nonsense even after it has been thoroughly refuted. The fact remains that there are numerous documented instances of full recoveries with no brain damage after immersions of 45 minutes to over an hour in cold water. None of your babbling can refute this fact. Go take a nap; maybe you'll wake up a little smarter. |

They should have given the truck more gas. It looked like you could see a bit of gravel on the right near the part they were aiming for but because they went so slow the current picked them up. Why didn’t they get out immediately? Climb out the back? Lots of scenarios of escape here.

And they were initially aiming right for that point of land while driving through shallow water. Yup, if they had goosed it they likely would have made it to the dry land.

Tip for everyones future. If a car is submerging the pressure will be to great to open doors. Wait for the car to fill. Dont panic. The moment the car is full pressure equalizers the door will open. Save that breathe of air to swim up or out.
