Re: Daredevil Motorbike Rider Dies During World-record Jump Practice, Washington
Dude fuck off with that comment. He's a stuntman. A daredevil. Trying to break a world record. That's pretty fucking awesome. And that's the thing about being a daredevil stuntman going for a world record jump. It's hard, it's super dangerous, which is why it's never been done, and there's no line behind him to try it. It's his life, his body, his risk. I'm sure he doesn't expect anyone to feel sorry for him. We need people like him pushing the limits of machines and man. It's people like him that tell us normal folks what's even possible. |

Re: Daredevil Motorbike Rider Dies During World-record Jump Practice, Washington
Nothing wrong with the bike. One or two things likely were wrong. I don't know if he already hit the jump previously. I'm guessing not, but maybe he did. And I assume he has some knowledge on this stuff but most likely he has people who run a bunch of numbers for him. He either just calculated the wrong speed he needed. Or there was much more wind than than expected. Either that or maybe he did something idiotic. Not giving himself enough room to hit the right speed. But it could be he did everything right and it just failed. Nobody can really say why. Since Nobody has ever did what he just attempted. And this is why. If it was as easy as getting the right bike, right wind, right prep. Then it wouldn't be such a big deal to jump that distance. |

Re: Daredevil Motorbike Rider Dies During World-record Jump Practice, Washington
Maybe to someone who's never done shit or took risks. Too people who have. He's a brave motherfucker with balls so big it weighed him down. And he didn't fail. He died pushing the limits. So he succeeded. Now we know the limit. And nobody will probably ever try that distance again.

Re: Daredevil Motorbike Rider Dies During World-record Jump Practice, Washington
The angles of both ramps were correct. He was having problem w not getting enough speed..the day before there was a crosswind. It hasnt said if that was a contributing factor along w not enough speed.
