I actually watched this, on live television. My junior year of high school, I had just gotten home from work and was watching tv, when they interrupted my (cartoons/talk show?) to show the video of this guy who had stopped the freeway traffic. Shitty part is, is that where he did it, was an intersection of a couple of different freeways, they had to shut them all down. A few moments before this guy killed himself, I hit "record" on my vcr and started taping it, I knew he'd do something crazy and I wanted to get in on a tape for my dad to watch. When the guy shot himself, the news coverage took a moment, because of the delay and cut out instantly, they apologized profusely for showing it. Me and my dad watched this video about 30 times, rewinding and watching and laughing at the flap of his head coming off, and all that blood. r.i.p daddy. He would have loved this site. |

I've always thought "if you're going to kill yourself anyway, why not do it in a spectacular way". Kudos to this gay dude for making a statement with his death instead of dying quietly. .... at least he didn't hurt anyone else with his suicide... |
