If you look at the victim's left shoulder blade, you will see the bullet(s) exit there and make a large bloody hole. I think the muzzel blast might have launched his glasses.

I can't believe that guy had live ammo, not blanks, in that gun with a crowd around. Even a blank could blind or kill the guy if there were fragments from that close.

The main rule of firearms is: don't point a gun at anything you wouldn't want to destroy...
You're right. I went back and looked and the charge goes right through his left shoulder. From the angle it almost certainly had to rip right through his heart. He can't have a heart left.
