Not true. There was an experiment in the 50s/60s where even elephants could be killed with an overdose of LSD. Granted, it was a massive dose but still... it can kill.

That was that infernal shithead Delgado who did that. I think that elephant was given 2 grams of pure LSD--like 20 000 or so, doses. But even then, it wasn't LSD's toxicity that killed the elephant, it was the shock from the effect. Albert Hoffman accidentally ate 100mg's when he first invented LSD...and then rode his bicycle home. I know an actual lady who snorted 80mg of it, and after she recovered, the only real change was how much Mashimaro stuff was at her place (light switch covers, towels, curtains, stationary, etc), and that she always adjusted her toque into a point after that. Although if anything, those are positive results. |
