Re: Crossing the Train Tracks Not Looking to His Right
The camera is on a train stopped on the first track. Its engine is probably running loud enough to mask the approaching train on the next track. Thats how many pedestrians get killed by trains, usually two or more tracks and one passes or is stopped and they get hit by another train.

You gotta watch out- trains are sneaky, silent little bastards that come out of nowhere to prey on people when they least expect it.

Re: Crossing the Train Tracks Not Looking to His Right
Not really, maybe he had earbuds in or something. Which is why it's really not a good idea to walk around in public listening to music with earbuds/ headphones. Trains a extremely loud, and monstrously big and heavy. They shake the ground, you can feel them coming in your chest. I don't know how one could possibly not know a train is coming just feet away. I live 2 miles from tracks and can hear them go by. Funny, I say that and a train is coming right now |

Re: Crossing the Train Tracks Not Looking to His Right
lol yeah that's what I thought the train should be close enough and within his field of view by the time he reached the first track even that, the train should make some obvious noise anyway |

Re: Crossing the Train Tracks Not Looking to His Right
A friend of mine in Pennsylvania was walking home about two in the morning on railroad tracks with ear buds in listening to his music. He got cut in half but wasn't found for four day's. Will never forget what his body looked like. Had to help his mom identify him. Still haunted by it to this day
