Two suspected gang members were burned alive by vigilantes moments after they reportedly shot a cab driver outside a church.

Cell phone images registered the disturbing moment Roger Ronald Gómez Carrillo, 23, and Edwin Herrera, 19, were set on fire by an angry mob Thursday morning in Mixco, Guatemala.

Gómez Carrillo and Herrera, alleged members of the Mara 18 criminal organization, reportedly drove up on a motorbike to Fardy Mayén Pérez Miranda, a 23-year-old cab driver.

The gunmen were reportedly were part of a group extorting local tax drivers. They tried to hand Pérez Miranda a cell phone while he was on a meal break inside his vehicle, according to Guatemalan news station TN 23.He refused it and tried to drive away, but was fired upon by the assailants in front of a Mormon church.A group of taxi drivers in the vicinity rushed to their colleague's aid and stopped the men from fleeing the scene.

Gómez Carrillo and Herrera were kicked, punched, and pelted with rocks before the angry mob lit them on fire as police officers could just watch.

One of the shooters is spotted in the video struggling to stay on his feet as his left leg is engulfed in flames while traffic comes to a standstill.

Eventually a police officer manages to throw dirt over him to put the flames out.Another cab driver, reportedly identified as Edy Guillermo Sánchez, is seen delivering a kick to the other shooter as he tries to escape the flames. The man then makes a gesture with his hands to encourage people to join in on the beating.

Seconds later, the man and another person toss the suspected gunmen into a pile of burning debris.

Sánchez, 26, was arrested hours later, with police saying he incited the violence.

The shot cab driver and the suspected shooters were all taken to a local hospital where they died hours later.

Pérez Miranda suffered gun shots to the chest and abdomen and lost a huge amount of blood that led to his death.

Gómez Carrillo and Herrera were alive when they were taken to hospital but were declared dead hours later after suffering burns to more than 80 percent of their bodies.

How come they never do this shit to the cartels running their villages/towns?
At least that’d be understandable.

I can think of two, or three I think. One is a carload of Cartelites that burned up, but I think some kind of munition went off in their SUV. There is another one more like what you wanna see. An accused cartel guy tied to a chainlink gate or fence--he busts free, and spends most the video rolling around moaning, grasping at traffic, and looking the usual smouldering scribble of permed laundry that we've all become accustomed to.
Maybe it's called: Worst Way To Die, or something like that I think.

These right here though, are just a couple of so called thieves that He ordered up as an appetizer. The raper burning in the jail video is a little older now, but he caught on after becoming over-enthused while he was raping a jail--like a friction thing.
